Fanny Demassieux is acting coordinator of the Resource efficiency subprogramme which is one of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) six priority work areas and is also leading the Responsible Consumption unit in the Sustainable Consumption and Production branch of its Division of Technology, Industry and Economics, based in Paris. Before joining UNEP, she worked for the French development agency, the bilateral French donor institution, in charge of partnerships, regional cooperation and European affairs within the French overseas territories directorate. Fanny Demassieux started her career as advisor, deputy chef de cabinet for the French State Secretary for overseas territories.
