The biggest contributor to the environmental impact of events is usually the guests’ trip to and from the event. This is an area where we as the team organising the event have very little influence. However, we want to support you as much as we can in planning your trip to the conference in an environmentally friendly way. You can reach the World Conference Center Bonn by public transport as follows:

By public transport

• You catch bus no. 610/611 from Bonn Hauptbahnhof (main station) (Pappelweg direction for both). Get off the bus at the Deutsche Welle bus stop and follow the signs for the Bundeshaus.
  
  or:
  
• You catch the tram / underground train from Bonn Hauptbahnhof (Regierungsviertel direction, numbers 63, 66).
  
• Get off the tram at the Heussallee / Museumsmeile tram stop and follow the signs for the Bundeshaus.
  
• Keep walking down the Heussallee until you reach the Görresstraße junction (Platz der Vereinten Nationen). Then you turn left into the Görresstraße / Platz der Vereinten Nationen.
  
• You will find the World Conference Center Bonn on the right hand side after walking 100 metres.

Unfortunately we cannot complete any hotel reservations for participants.
Please find hotels nearby the conference location here http://www.bonn-region.de/3501, that are also registered as "Partner of Sustainable Bonn". If you book a room there you will receive a ticket for public transport in Bonn during your stay for free.
"Partner of Sustainable Bonn" is an initiative of the City of Bonn in order to support Sustainable Conference Management. The hotels registered as such are using resources economically and are working in an environmentally friendly way. They supprt fair and sustainable procurement.
