Monika DülgeMonika Dülge has been a member of the board of management of the association of German development non-governmental organisations (VENRO) since 2006. Prior to that, she was on the board of management of the North Rhine-Westphalian civil society network Eine Welt Netz NRW for ten years. Since 2008 she has been head of the climate change campaign "Heiße Zeiten – Nimm das Klima in die Hand!" of Eine Welt Netz NRW. From 2001 to 2005 she served as a specialist promoter of fair trade and global business as part of the Eine Welt fair trade promotion programme in North Rhine-Westphalia, a joint project of Eine Welt Netz NRW and InWEnt gGmbH. Monika Dülge developed the Fair Trade and Global Business area and coordinated numerous campaigns, including the regional fair-trade campaign "Wir handeln fair. NRW." with over 30 participating organisations. She served as One World Promoter for the Neuss chapter of Eine Welt from 1996 to 2001. Monika Dülge studied social work at Evangelische Fachhochschule Bochum (a university of applied sciences), political science at the University of Duisburg and earned a master's degree in "Gender, Development and Globalisation" at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
