Christophe NuttallChristophe Nuttall joined the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in August 2005 and is presently Director of the Hub for Innovative Partnerships. He has an engineering degree in ecology and a PhD in geography in the field of development. After having worked in the field in Senegal for three years as a junior scientist for ORSTOM (a French institution for research in developing countries) and US Clark University, and being a space engineer at CNES (French space agency), Christophe Nuttall served as a scientific advisor within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He then joined the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in 1993, where he was in charge of information society. Within UNDP Christophe Nuttall is responsible for the development of partnerships between local and regional authorities in line with the UN Reform within the new multilateralism spirit. He has introduced the concept of the territorial approach to development, which is now one of the different services that UNDP is offering to tackle climate change at subnational level and get access to combining and sequencing different finance opportunities.
