Bruno_WennBruno Wenn has been Senior Vice President of the Sub-Saharan Africa Unit in the financial cooperation with developing countries section of the KfW Bankengruppe (a group of banks that seeks to give impetus to economic, social and ecological development worldwide) since 2006. After graduating in political economics from the University of Bonn and completing a postgraduate training programme at the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), Bruno Wenn began his career at KfW in 1982. He initially worked as a project manager in the East Asia department and later as a senior economist in the South East Asia department. Bruno Wenn was the deputy manager of the division for social and economic infrastructure from 1992 until 1995. Following this, he worked as Head of the Department for Questions of Development Policy and subsequently became the Director of the Business Policy Department. Bruno Wenn was then appointed Head of the Foreign Secretariat, where he was responsible for the business policy and strategy of the KfW Entwicklungsbank (development bank).
